Outstanding rod building kit

This is my second fly rod kit, I'm in the process of putting it together. So far it's been a repeat of the first kit. I purchased the 690G 6 weight Graphene Fly Rod Building Kit in 2022. I have fished with it for two seasons and I have to say this is a very nice fly rod. It is light weight and easy to cast. I found that I haven't had as many large trout break off using this rod. It does everything I need, and it wasn't that hard to build. Thanks for making such a great fly rod.

Great kit, great rod

Like all the building kits from Epic everything in top quality. I have build up five Epic rods now and I love them all - in different situations. The 686 is fun to cast and pulls out the big ones. Exactly what I was looking for!

Great Kit - Great Rod - Great Customer Service

I was very impressed with the entire process. I had heard great things about Swift/Epic, but I couldn't believe how seamlessly everything worked. Not only was the purchasing process easy, but the rod kit came much sooner than I expected. And the kit itself is so well put together, the building process is easy. I've built other rods, including bamboo, and no matter how well I choose components, there's always some tinkering that needs to be done to get things to fit together. Sometimes you have to grind down the ferrules or ream out the cork. None of that with the Epic kit. Everything fit together like a glove. And the finished rod is a ton of fun to cast. I will definitely be back for the 4wt. Thanks Sift/Epic. Great experience.
