Great, simple pattern to sew

This pattern is so cute, with simple instructions. I'm not very good with binding so wasn't sure about armholes etc, but actually this was simple, clear instructions and easy to complete. It was so quick to sew up! Love the coloured lines for different sizes too, these made it so easy to cut out the size I wanted from the PDF. Love these patterns!

First time kids’ clothing maker

I’ve been making my own clothing as an adult for years, but now I have nieces and nephews, so I decided to jump in and make some sweet duds for them. Oh boy is this pattern ever different from the ones I make for myself and friends. The binding going on pre-seam work was real interesting to me. But maybe this is standard for kids’ clothes? Anyhow. It made a super cute little dress and only made me have to change the way that I sew … a reasonable amount. :|

Not my favorite

For a knit pattern, this has extremely fiddly seams! It would be easier to just do banded hem and sleeves, like so many other successful b&t patterns. I would recommend the raglan dresses instead of this one.
