After trying Earmold ( silicon plugs molded in ear) and now earjobs I have come to the conclusion there is no easy in between that blocks ambient noise but allows engine/comms to come through. Foam ear plugs work best to block out noise and unfortunately music/phone etc. Earjobs are halfway between nothing and foam plugs. More wind noise than earplugs, but music/phone easier to hear. Therse are ok but not as good as I had hoped

Good design

Best protection from any of the ear plugs I've tried to date. Installation wand is a good innovation.

Alpine Race ear plugs

I have been using another brand of reusable ear plugs with filters. The point of difference with these ones is the applicator which improves the seal when inserting. My old ones often required me to stop and try to improve the seal sometimes more than once.
