This product was perfect for me. I thought what i wanted wasnt made but i found this and it worked perfect. Its the best varnish ever.

Small Turned Wood Projects

I am a professional wood turner. I say professional because I sell nearly everything I make and those that don't sell end up as gifts to others. For many years I have used every finish under the sun and for the most part been fairly pleased with the results. But, for the last year I have been testing non toxic finishes in hopes of settling on one that meets virtually all my needs, i.e. waterproof food grade finish to home decor finishes, matte, satin, to gloss. So far I love this Extreme Protection Poly for how not toxic it is and the "fit and finish" it provides; silky smooth, easy to apply, quick setting. I am still testing for heat resistance for coffee mugs but love the feel of it and have no doubt it can handle hot coffee. My testing is more about the timeframe to cure. I actually look forward to being able to throw the vast assortment of more toxic chems away and simply use this and my Pure Polymerized Tung Oil as needed. That being said I think this product will surpass even the PPTO. Thanks to the owners for all their efforts to provide the craft/artist industry with a proven safe product. I look forward to a long relationship and will shortly begin suggesting it to fellow turners and artisans.

Gray Finish!

I really like working with Crystalac. Easy to use. Easy to clean up my equipment. Good durable finish with no yellowing.
