Americana Cotton Matelasse Bedspread

Good decision

After years of messing with extra pillows & shams I wanted the simplicity of the old fashioned bedspread I grew up with. The Americana Matelasse bedspread exceeded my highest hopes. Fabric is very comfortable as well as beautiful. My husband and I are both very comfortable with the weight of the bedspread. I was concerned about going with white but wish I would have made this decision long ago.

Just what I was looking for

I have a set of twin Crown Crafts bed spreads circa 1950 and have been searching for something similar in a full. This bedspread is beautiful in its detail. I am very happy with my purchase.

Beautiful bedspread

The bedspread is a beautiful color and is excellent quality. We don’t care for comforter sets and a high quality bedspread is hard to find. But we defiantly found one with Bates! We will be ordering another one for our guest room bed.
