Happy with this hammock. There is a small learning curve to learn to tie it up properly but my kids can do it without trouble now. Seems durable enough for kids who aren’t always the most careful with their equipment!

I’ve had a scout since my youth just made the upgrade. Wow! What a difference in size. This thing is huge! Me 5’11 160lbs was able to stretch out completely and still have room!! Set up was a breeze. Love the new mesh net compared to my 2010 model. Sturdy zipper. Thicker material than my scout I would call this 100% mosquito proof. Built to last you a lifetime if you treat it right! I also got the Hex Rainfly. HUGE!! You could weather a hurricane in this mock!

I was a little skeptical when first ordering and wasn't sure if I'd like the style. But the asymmetrical design actually works very well at allowing the hammock to be shorter but still very spacious and quite comfortable. The fabric is very durable and I trust the bug net to hold up to lots of aggressive use. I did not like the suspension system so I removed the zip tie and installed continuous loops and carabiners to allow the use of universal tree straps (my favorite are the Eno Helios straps). I definitely recommend this hammock for lighter weight and durability.
