A most luxurious piece indeed, fits absolutely perfect. A top hat was a missing piece to my collection, looking forward to rocking it with my tux. Big fan of HBO's period series "The Gilded Age", lots of top hats worn in the show, had to have one of my own. The silk finish, beaver felt is extravagant. Bravo.

Retro top hat

I remember seeing the long beaver fur top hat at Lewis and Clark museum and national park. Even after over 200 hundred years, the fur still has a perfect sheen and enchanting texture. It took me quite some time to do the research on the history of beaver fur trade, how it flourished and died out in history. It always amazes me when I encounter people who cherish old traditions of doing craftsmanship. I decided to support such businesses because this is in line with my life principles. This is more than a very well-made, stylish top hat. This hat represents the people who care about traditions and culture, who take the great effort to keep forgotten craftsmanship alive. I really appreciate the care and love given to this hat. It will be passed down in the family. Thank you!
