Purchased this for a vacation in Belize. It was nice and cool on my head even with it being very humid there in July. I typically wear 7 1/2 to 7 5/8 in other hats. Purchased the XL with this one and put in the 1/2 size adjustment cushion that came with the hat and it fit perfectly. Our fishing guide liked it so much that I ended up giving it to him. So now I’ll be ordering another.

I suggest strongly to measure your head like they say BUT GET the next biggest size . They have sweat bands and sizers to make a 1/4 to one size bigger with the washable sweat bands . I had to return mine for that reason .
