This gauge made visual purge, evacuation, leak check and charge procedures possible.

At the risk of rising Karma’s wrath, the gauge worked flawlessly when pulling a vacuum and leak checking my Pioneer mini split installation. The gauge readings mirrored the expectations in the Purge and charge procedures. I had my “well, I must be finished” moment when I reached, “the end “, and have been enjoying the comfort of the system since. I am now looking to use the unit again on the installation of a central heat pump in the near future.
