This new aluminum track went on great. The original plastic track was cracking, and the side of the roof was cracking with the awning flapping and hitting the side continuously whenever the wind caught it while driving, whether from a passing truck, or wind gusts. That is why the layer of ABS that is seen in the picture. Final result is an almost perfect installation with the vinyl insert, and all edges sealed to prevent water from entering. Looks almost like new again. Thanks to Derek for his help. I did not use the extra sew in awning cord as the cord that was already sewn in seemed to hold adequately. I don't think I'd be able to keep the trailer going on as long if it were not for Derek and the company he is with. Superb service, even when calling long distance!. Thank you.
