Good protection!
Very nice for short trips or even long trips. I personally drove 11 1/2 hours with my 12 foot bug slinger strapped on the pad and had no issues. However I didn’t run the straps over the outside of the tailgate because I didn’t want to damage the paint with that long of a drive. The straps and buckles are heavy duty and hold very well.
