WOW! Do I love this thing and so do my 4 generations of Gold Fish

After constantly replacing typical aquarium type filters on a regular basis I decided to upgrade that would help get the fish through the vermont weather. My pond is about 3 feet deep and has a diameter of 10 feet. My wife bought some cheap gold fish, like 3 for a buck or so. She bought a dozen. By keeping the aerators going, along with either keeping the ice open or at least cleared we had the fish survive. It was a lot of work; shoveling, using hot water and replacing the cheap aquarium pumps. I purchased the Easypro Linear Pond Aerator 1.0 CFM and it was unbelievable. Tons of air which alone kept the pond open. Quiet. 5 feet away you cannot hear the pump. You do get the pleasant gurgle of the roiling bubbles. The temp was down to minus 20 F and the pump had no problems. I did use a plastic recycling bin as a housing cover. I recommend this product to anyone who wants to enjoy generation after generation of fish.
