Wonderful little tree. Thirsty though, first 5-6 days and it's already drank 30 gallons of water in that time.

Gorgeous tree.
I have had Deodar cedars before at another house. They are the most beautiful trees. I lost two young ones last winter due to a flash minus 2 degree weather. They can tolerate these temperatures but this happened suddenly after being unusually warm. Also lost 80% of my shrubs. As did everyone in my part of the country. This tree came in perfect condition and larger than I expected. As these trees get larger they develop the tiered limbs. Very pleased with this purchase and bought another for my daughter. Deodar cedar is one of only four species of true cedars in the world.
