Heirloom French Pumpkins - Cinderella's Carriage

I was disappointed in the amount of seeds in one packet. Lucky me that I ordered 2. I was going to give one to someone. In the first packet there were only 9 seeds, of which only 4 germinated. So I planted the other packet and only 4 of those 9 germinated. I soaked the seeds for a couple days before planting. I love these pumpkins. They make a great soup base , baby food and pumpkin pies. I love the sweet smell of them fresh and they are really good eating fresh. I usually save my seeds but the batch from last year did not grow me any pumpkins so I’m starting fresh. Several friends love getting a pumpkin from me for Thanksgiving pies. The 3 star is for not enough seeds in the packets. The picture is 2 germinated plants and 1 new seed coming up.
