Ilford SFX 200 - 35mm Film

Tried this out in the Lomography Fisheye 2 with a Hoya r72 filter. The camera doesn't have a tripod hole these were hand-held long exposures of around 10 seconds (perhaps a little overexposed due to the strong light conditions). Fun as an experimental black and white film to get those dreamy white foliage and clouds. Interesting results if you play about with colourising these in post too.

Good but pricey

As you'd expect from Ilford, this is a good film. But those of you chasing the full IR effect (black skies, white trees) like me are likely to do quite a lot of trial and error. Given that Adox and Rollei make IR sensitive films that are substantially cheaper, it's hard to give it the full 5 stars.

Great unusual film

Great film, lots of contrast, lots of texture. Works well on bright days. Has higher than normal grain. I would definitely shoot again.
