Fantastic collards
They look great, beautiful germination.

The collards had a good germination rate and actually survived a weird Edmonton summer. However, they were attacked by beetles and/or wasps which ate many many small holes in them before they were of any significant size for eating. I harvested and ate the leaves while they were still very small and undamaged.

Need to try again
Being late in summer I only put a few seed direct into the soil. Just bought the place with a veggie patch. The strange thing is were I planted the seed it was not Collard green but Radish that grew from it. Will try again for next season and hope to give a proper review.
