This is one of my favorite white teas. Surprisingly, year after year, it always maintains the same high quality. I love drinking it in hot weather and in the mornings. The main thing is not to brew it with boiling water — let the water cool down a bit first.

Pleasantly Surprised!

I am pretty new to white tea, and after ordering I tried a white tea sample from a different Yunnan Sourcing order that I didn't love, so despite the glowing reviews I was a bit apprehensive about this tea by the time I sat down to try it. Turns out, the reviews were spot on. The leaves have a pleasant buttery smell to them once activated, like a lighter version of what you get with longjing, and the flavor was a more complex than I was expecting for a white tea. The 70C temperature recommended in another review was enough to bring out a lot of flavor, so I'm looking forward to drinking this during the warmer months!
