Genuine Original Singer Model 66 Side Clamping Presser Bar Assembly - Complete

The parts arrived clean and in great shape. I have a 1905 Singer 66 that I have been refurbishing and I wanted to change the back clamping presser bar to a side clamp, so she can share feet with my Featherweight. The swap was easily managed. The only thing that was a little glitch for me was that the screw holding the presser bar to the thread guide bar was stuck super TIGHT and was starting to strip when I was attempting to separate the two. The newer thread guide is so much shinier than the other chrome on my 1905 Singer 66, so I had wanted to keep the old one that had more patina. I was impatient to finish the renovation and get back to sewing so I put the whole assemnly in and it is working GREAT. Shipping was fast, and I appreciate CMS for stocking vintage and OEM parts for these machines. (I also ordered new throat plate screws and some SInger 66 bobbins at the same time). I'll source parts again from CMS when I start rebuilding my machines from 1891 and 1898.
