Very interesting pattern with nice variations

1930s Coat Set 18" Doll Clothes Pattern

As with all my Pixie Fairy patterns, this one was fun to make. I made in a teal blue wool and have another cut in a period black and purple print. People seem to think that "how hard can it be - it's a doll dress!" but just like any pattern, well drawn pieces and well written instructions are essential. This pattern has both. I love the attention to detail this pattern has. I have a picture of my mom taken in the early 1930s wearing a coat very similar to this one. This is a 5 star (or hearts) pattern!!!
