Love these. Added a quick mag release link to hold gloves togethor when not using, instead of the carabiner that came with it (which is fine as is) but could be a great upgrade to consider adding.

Very well made - great for outdoor photographer
I have purchased 4 different pairs of convertible mittens, alas none are as well made or useable as the Heat 2 softshell. These also stack with mittens as well as rain cover. Have all 3 to support any kind of cold / wet weather outdoor activity.

Works well over a Merino liner one size smaller...
…and when you wear the sofshell by itself, it’s pretty comfortable, although the material could be a bit warmer
