Sad to see a decline in quality

I purchased my first pair of Give'r light weights about 6 years ago, and after 6 years of hard use, they finally started to wear through. But hey, 6 years of rugged work out of one pair of gloves is killer, so of course I'd buy more. This time I ordered a pair of the classics and a replacement pair of the lightweight. I've been using the lightweights for a few weeks now, and after this morning's work, I'll be getting something else. Initially I had noted that the leather is not the same, and seems flimsy compared to my last pair. Even after waxing they just feel like they're going to tear through rather easily. Time would tell I suppose. However, the real issue is the fit and poor quality control. The left glove is just about perfect in fit. However, the right glove, and I'm right handed, is horrid. The pinky, middle and pointer fingers have between an inch and two inches extra of leather on the tip. This leaves a huge flopping end sticking off the end of my finger, making it practically impossible to pick anything small up. After working with comm line and zip ties this morning, I ended up taking the glove off and tossing it off the roof I was working on in disgust. Even laying the two gloves side by side you can see the difference, and it should have been obvious to any one doing quality control that this glove was not properly formed. Darn shame.....now I'm in the market for another set of gloves.
