Have not used vest yet but been a dove hunter for over 40 yrs in South Texas. Have gone through lots of vests in my lifetime. Couple of things I don’t like about this vest. 1) does not have a zipper to where I can just open it up and dump all doves out before cleaning them. 2) blood resistant area needs to be bigger, seems like u might get blood on back of your shirt. All my other vests have larger areas and still seem to get some blood on shirts or either pants. Overall seems like it might just do the job regardless.

Worn the Dove Vest for a couple of hunts so far this Season. Of course I had to do some adjusting to get the best fit for me but that didn’t take long. I have worn hunting vest's from various manufacturers over the years I’ve hunted & now I’ve found one I really like that meets all my needs. Just a tip for other hunters, if you don’t need to carry a water bottle when you hunt, the bottle holder is handy for putting spent shells in. Most land owners appreciate you picking up your empties.
