Dimplex 23" Standard Electric Fireplace Log Set - DFI2309

After much research, I learned that Dimplex electric fireplace inserts are widely considered the best. I will not disagree with this, as I love this electric log insert that I purchsed. It is brilliant, easy to use, realistic to look at, and the heater works nicely. I plan on purchasing a larger Dimplex insert for my other fireplace. Now if I could only find an electrician to install outlets within the fireplaces!

This fireplace stinks. We’ve used it several times and it still smells awful. Not happy with this unit.

Came pre assembled, right out of the box, plugged it in and placed it in the fireplace where we removed the old one. It looked and fit perfect.
