Great product superb customer service
The product is awesome subtle flavors added to your meats, but even better was the customer service. They made a mistake and before any complaints were recived they had resolved the issue and refunded my money. Will definately shop with a company that puts customer first.

The best on the market!!!
I smoke something every week, most of the time 3 or three days from cheese to brisket, I have tried almost every major brand of pellet. I have found that Bear Mountain pellets are the cleanest and hardest! They cook consistently the same from bag to bag. I always keep five different flavors on hand at all times and no matter what flavor they are always consistent,

Your salmon never tasted this good
I love cooking salmon and steelhead on the pellet grill, and Bear Mountain alder is reliably good for that. For some reason, alder is harder to find than other types of wood, but it is ideal for fish and great for poultry. It's also mild enough for grilled pizza. I like to set the pellet grill to 250 and get a heavy smoke rolling over the fish. The alder smoke flavor comes through without bitterness that you would get with oak or hickory. I've also smoked steelhead with a sweet nut rub for 8 hours at 180 (with spritzing) using these pellets to produce a kind of fish 'candy' that is irresistible. Technical note: I don't get as much sawdust at the bottom of the bag from Bear Mountain as other brands. This may only have to do with how the bags are handled after they are shipped. Who knows. If you and your family love fresh fish from the Pacific Northwest, give it the gourmet smoke treatment it deserves.
