Custom Goof Rings-White Acrylic

Perfect for my installation!

The previous owner had replaced traditional can lights with flush mount LED downlights but did not address the size of the hole in the sheet rock when doing so. I discovered this when one failed and during my attempt to replace it with another 6" down light. Much fun and cursing ensured as it sprung itself into the ceiling past the dry wall as I attempted to retrieve it without damaging the edges of the hole. A Google search landed me here and I ordered 6"ID, 10" OD rings. They're a little oversized but they solved the problem and the white matches the ceiling paint well enough that they don't grab the eye. These are easy to recommend to others in my situation or to those wanting to convert old style can lights with oversized holes to flush mounted LED down lights.

Rings fit

I can say these rings fit over our ceiling light holes to camouflage gaps from the light install. They are very thin and lightweight, not what I was expecting for the money I spent, but they do the job.
