Real pads are really better

I have used a number of cheap, 3rd party Grado G pads. Just purchased real Grado G's and there is a difference. The real pads are 'engineered foam', very structured, composed of different foam densities. The sound is airier, with excellent layering and accurate instrument placement. The difference is quite apparent. The real pads are definitely more expensive, but "...you get what you pay for.." Highly recommended. Audio46 always has excellent service with fast order fulfillment, and shipping information.
