I like single edge razors

This single edge razor is a bit more efficient than many mild DE razors. What takes 3 passes and some repeated buffing strokes on my face with a mild DE razor, will require 2 well planned passes and a good amount of shave cream or good soap. It feels light compared to brass steel or zinc models. I like lightweight razors and find no advantage or benefit to a well designed razor. The head design on this makes for enough blade exposure to tackle harder and denser hair than mine, I believe. As I use it more often, I'm sure it will grow on me.

Would buy again. Solid Single blade razor, not quite the replacement I hoped it would be.

My regular shaves for over the last decade were from Bic chrome platinum blades via Merkur 34c and 45C Bakelite [which recently suffered a drop and has broken]. I can still manage quite a good shave from this razor though not as good as the 45c, would like to see a couple improvements to this razor. One note on angle and overall dimensions; I wouldn't say its more able to get the under nose area more effectively than any other razor I've used. The handle needs a knurled option, or some type of alternative handle to better grip the razor. The current fit and smooth finish with a little water and soap on your hands makes it quite slippery. That being said, I love the finish [Orange] and seems to hold up well as I've been using it several months now. Second the opening underneath the blade could be chamfered toward the rear of the blade/handle, This would allow easier cleaning and a higher volume collected between shakes in the water to clean off. -------- All that said, I wouldn't hesitate to buy one again, or to buy a replacement handle for this one, should they come out. Feels like it will last decades with the same care I've treated others. Finish seems to be durable and no issues there, comfort and angles seem to be fine. Shave quality still very good, with no irritation.

Great SE razor

Really nice razor, gives a great shave but would recommend getting one of the razorock stainless steel handles if you prefer a bit of weight to your razor.
