This is a fun demonstration with a striking visual effect. Be careful when cleaning it. If you get a cotton swab stuck in the piston, it is extremely difficult to remove. Also, something cracked the plastic of the piston in a number of places. I'm not sure whether it part of my cleaning process, or if I accidentally dropped it, but it is a little more sensitive than it looks. Be careful, because it is a demonstration you will want to use often!

Delivers a fire syringe
Worked as a fire syringe should. In general could only get it to smoke a bit, but I was lucky to get a good ignition run at least once. Using more flammable stuff is a sure fire way to get ignition, but will almost certainly break your device. Sometimes it’s worth it!

Pretty great little tool! The instructions are spot on--can't exaggerate how LITTLE cotton is needed. And you should practice your "striking" technique. Really strong & FAST stroke, but don't kill your new little device! Great in a darkened room. Kids were impressed (6th grade).
