Queen Victoria Bedspread and Pillow Sham purchased June 2025

I purchased the Queen Victoria Bedspread and Pillow Sham in June 2025. Queen Size in French Blue. This is a perfect fit for me. This is my story: Back in 1982, I had purchased a bedspread from Ethen Allen in Colorado Springs. I had never seen this kind of bedspread before. I paid more for this bedspread than I had ever considered paying at that time. However, the quality was exceptional and I loved it. It became like an old friend. After 31 years and not being particularly careful with the spread, it only started to look worn. Now flash to present day, not being satisfied with other "covers or spreads", I happened to fined the Bates Mill Store Site (thanks to some spreads seen in the Vermont Country Store catalog). And, there, at Bates Mill, I found my old friend. It was a Heritage Cotton bedspread in natural. I saw the Queen Victoria and fell in love with that design. I would have gone with the natural but saw where another reviewer had ordered samples. I saw the French Blue and that was it!. When I got it, it was perfect in every way. The Quality of the 1983 was so good, I was afraid that today's version would be lacking. It was not. For me, this was perfect in size, style, color , design and most important quality. AND, MADE IN AMERICA. My bedroom is back to feeling elegant again. THANKS to BATES MILL STORE. And in regards to the timing of the order, there was a caution about made to order and may be a delay, but I got it within a couple of weeks (I don't really remember because I was surprised when it arrived). I have a 5 star experience all around.

I was very pleased with this company. Very professional and communicative. They called to verify my order and tell me they noticed I may have made a possible error in my order, which I had. So order was easily corrected thanks to them. When part of my order was delayed they countered by giving me a small rebate. The quality of the product was exceptional. I highly recommend this company.
