Double Cape and Bonnet
I'm am very pleased with how this darling cape turned out. The instructions were pretty straightforward to follow tho some of the pattern pieces were a bit off kilter when joining them together. My doll is wearing the 1870s Bustle Dress underneath the cape.

Double cape and Bonnet
This turned out so lovely, it is a very easyily moderate pattern to complete. The instructions call for interfacing but doesn't specify the flexibilty of it. I recommend light, as I used a nice wool and a flannel and used 2 layers of light interfacing, and it was too much. Use one layer. The bonnet sews up nicely and is the cutest bonnet ever. I made two of both, one for myself and one for my adult daughter. The phot will show the bonnet before I sewed on the little strap. That truly finishes off the bonnet. I found little gold buttons at Joann's with anchors embossed on them, perfect for Caroline. I got 2 capes out of 1 yard of wool, and 1 1/4 yds of flannel. I recommend the pattern for the historical dolls.
