Excellent customer service, fast delivery, and the preamp installed easily. Completely enhanced the quality of sound from the pickups of this bass and I was so easy to install. Completely satisfied with the sound and ease of use. Will definitely use FBT again in the future.

Excellent tone

I just replaced the control plate on a Fender 2012 American standard jazz bass (converting it to active). It was significantly difficult to get everything to fit in the existing control cavity but I made it work. Also not having the standard pickup blend/selector is a challenge if you use that- however- The ease of wiring and the tone are top notch- I highly recommend these to anyone. The improvement in versatility far outweighs the above complaints. I also have one of these on an American deluxe 5 string (fit into the cavity much easier on that one) it’s hard to get a bad sound- it’s all just good and preferred. It’s extremely well designed in practice once you get used to it.
