These pickups sound wonderful. Warm and clean sounding, with high output. They are fully comparable to my prior favorite pickups, Nordstrand NJ4SV (also from Fat Bass Tone). You win either way.

Love the pick-ups and Max was very helpful after the sale

I put these in a Sadowsky Metro Express fretless - what a great upgrade. Love the tone and punch which was exactly what I was looking for. The install was a little challenging as the rear pick-up from Bartolini was just ever so slightly larger than the Sadowsky opening. Dremel tool and needle file to the rescue - and the fit was great. Max helped me troubleshoot an issue that turned out to be more weak soldering skills (it was a cold solder joint). Once I reworked that - all is well! Thanks FatBassTone and Max!

Incredible frequency response!

These pickups are incredible. Super fat bottom, growling mids that punch through the mix up and down the neck, and crystal highs. These pickups have a wider frequency response than most (think G&L MFDs), so it is handy to have a setup where you can EQ as needed.
