Very mixed feelings

I have now bought five bags from Troop so they clearly appeal. This one is spacious, well appointed, comfortable to carry, and attractive. It feels sturdy & well-made. I hope it lasts me a good long time. So why my mixed feelings? The bag this one replaced had to be twice returned when I first bought it because of a faulty buckle. When the buckle failed again -- after only two years (hence my concern expressed above about my new bag's longevity) -- I wrote and asked if it could be repaired -at my expense -- it was outside the guarantee period -- I got no reply, just a coupon for 5% off a future purchase (which would have saved me about £1.75. I didn't use it. It was insulting.) So an otherwise useful bag with plenty of life left in it is now landfill. Furthermore, call me old-fashioned, but I expected much better customer service from a company that piffles on about my being part of 'the Troop family.' The courtesy of a reply to my email rather fobbing me off corporate BS and a coupon would have made a huge difference. Hopefully my new bag will last longer than its predecessor. If not, I'll find another family to be part of. Which will, I imagine, trouble Troop not one whit.

I am very happy with the bags I have I am only returning these ones because I ordered the wrong ones and will be ordering correct ones.

It have improved (is is second same bag) and all taxes were payed at once(sent to EU). Curious when it wears out and will buy new again. Thank You!
