I like the fact that these filters preserve the contrast, specially useful when using vintage lens like the Helios where you might not really want to soften the look further

Just the right touch.

For me, the 1/4 Glimmerglass took off that digital edge just enough to make the image look more filmic, without sacrificing sharpness. I have this on nearly all the time.
