C9 Sockets for SPT-1

They work!

I only used 4 sockets and one did not make contact and had to be replaced. Found it helps to heat the wire some so it is pliable before installing the sockets. The bottom of the socket it very hard to get in but does not come out. I held the head of a hammer and used the tip of the handle to force the base into position by rocking from side to side. That being said, the C9 sockets saved me from having to replace 3 light strings. For that I am grateful. I would definitely buy again.

Missing internal parts cant use one socket.

Your shippment was ontact but as I went to intall one of 3 sockets zi found it was misding the netural copper spike part that intercepts the zip cord so I used 2 to repair my xmas star but have mo spare docket. I made this in 1968 at 17. I wish to keep fixing future bad sockets. Yours are almost a perfect match. 7 stars "9 blub fixture.
