Pure Magic!...Or Eggplant/Black
I tried this on a fountain pen-friendly paper and 2 different cheap college-ruled made in the USA papers. On FP-friendly paper, it's gold sheening purple and black magic. On my cheap $1 notebook paper, the sheen is completely devoured, but it's a nice eggplant color with larger nibs and pretty much black in fine or extra fine. On a different loose leaf cheap paper (like $1 for 150 sheets cheap), it writes eggplant/black but actually sheens gold every once in a while! This is definitely worth a sample to see how it does on your usual paper and would make an excellent stealth magical ink.

Pleasantly surprised
This ink has quickly become my new favorite! I’ve currently got my Pineider avatar UR Riace Bronze inked up with Diamine Scribble purple and I think it’s just the most beautiful combination. Because this purple ink is so dark, I can use it in most of my daily writing. It’s easy on the eyes when reading pages I’ve written, unlike some of my more vibrant purple inks.

Be very patient!
I received my bottle of Scribbler's Purple yesterday and overall I'm pleased. At first it "appears" to be almost black but it's a very deep purple. I was expecting an instant greenish sheen as it appears to me in the picture but that didn't happen... until today when I gave it another chance with my new Kaweco Perkeo M nib. I'm glad I tried this ink again, and even without a sheen (at first) Scribbler's Purple is beautiful in the bottle and on paper. Just know if you don't get expected results at first, try it again or BE PATIENT!! ☺️
