A subtle ink

I was afraid that this ink was going to be too much like black or blue black. The variations are gradual. The ink flows evenly and dries fast enough for me not to make a mess. Diamine makes great ink.

Everyday ink

I write with this ink every day on Hobonichi and Clairefontaine papers with a Sailor TUZU (M nib), and it's so solid but not too dark or too light. Diamine inks are consistent for me, just the right amount of wet, and I will use this ink in many pens, low and high end.
