Maverick Boots

These boots are great quality but did take a bit to get them broke in compared to quality hiking boots which I am used to and don't require a break in period. Now that they are getting broke in, I am not as concerned of blisters if needing to walk any distance in them. The belt which was included for free is also great quality and is the best belt I have had in a long time. The customer service does need quite a bit of improvement in my opinion however. I placed my order on 5/20 and provided the shipping address of where I was so I could wear the boots on my ride back home. Though the web site states items will be shipped in 1 - 3 days, it was nine days before I received an email with the shipping label. At that point I was not going to receive the boots where I was and requested to have the address changed to my home address which it was confirmed it had been changed. Four days later USPS tracking showed the item had not been received. When I inquired about this the only explanation was the mail carrier didn't stop and pick up the shipment. When the boots finally did ship they were sent to the original address so the address did not get corrected. I never did get any explanation on why it took nine days from time of order to time of shipping label creation. On the positive side Chris was very apologetic to the shipping snafu and I was promptly reimbursed for the cost of getting the boots shipped from where I originally wanted them to my home. So when the customer service is engaged they are good.

Solid boots, surprise sizing

These boots are beautiful, constantly receive compliments, and are reinforced in all the right places. I'm a daily rider (got rid of my car, only have my moto and my bikes), so I appreciate something tough but appealing enough to wear all the time, and these boots fit the bill. Obviously hand made, which means some aesthetic imperfections, but that's actually a good sign in this case: they don't skimp on flimsier materials that are easier to work with but last less time My only gripe is sizing - I went through two pairs before the third finally fit. Basically, my tip is: order your sneaker size and round down from any halves. For example, I wear an 8 in most boots but a 9-9.5 in sneakers. I ordered an 8- no go. 8.5- still too small. The 9 was exactly on the nose. If anyone from the company reads this: please get rid of the comparison thing and just include actual measurements! It took almost a month longer than planned to get my boots.

Love the belt

Well made belt, is comfortable to wear while riding. Runs a little smaller then expected, but does fit the size range listed.
