Jalapeño and cheese bison snack bites: Amazing!!!

Best replacement that could have happened I think!!! I'd ordered the garlic flavored bison snack bites, but Northstar Bison was out of stock at the moment and kindly called and asked if I would consider the bison snack bites with jalapeño and cheese in them. I was more than willing since I really enjoy jalapeño also. I did have a reason for ordering them, but when they arrived the use for them was changed. Decided to slice up 3 or 4 little pieces into a serving of jambalaya I made for myself. Oh, me, what an awesome addition to the jambalaya. Got 4 servings of jambalaya with those lovely little snack bites in them. They were perfect. I don't make jambalaya the way the Cajun's do either, I use steel cut oats with ground flax and chia seeds mixed into the steel cut oats. The steel cut oats have a texture much more like rice than chopped up cooked wheat berries do and have come to much prefer the steel cut oats as the starchy carb for the jambalaya. Along with 3 or 4 shrimp and a few bay scallops in there with the bison snack bites, absolutely can't be beat!!! What a treat that package was. They will be on my radar when ordering again. Northstar Bison, thank you for being out of the garlic bison snack bites!!!

My whole family loves these Bison snack sticks. They snap when you bite them. We used them as snacks. I would highly recommend because they taste great and are way healthier than slim Jim's.

Great snack. Prefer cheddar over garlic snack. Others might like garlic.
