Falcon Shadow
First off this is a very handsome and beautifully crafted bow. As advertised it is unique, I would categorize it as an reflex-deflex-recurve bow but I am happy to be corrected on that. Very smooth draw back to reference in my case about 29 inches and very good arrow speed. Minimal thud in the bow hand on release and nice and quiet compared to most bows i have shot in the past. I am using this on our field course and it is ideal for the job.

The Ultimate Traditional Bow II
I spent a lovely morning at KG getting my Forester and Osprey bows restrung by the extraordinarily helpful Martin. While he worked I had the chance to shoot the Falcon Shadow I've ordered. It isn't quite finished yet but finished enough that I was able to shoot it. As I carried it to the range I already knew it was a doozie. The Osprey is a beautiful bow, as is the Forester but I wanted an Osprey with a similar grip to the Forester, hence... a Falcon Shadow, the grip is perfect. I am always surprised how light KG bows are, amazing. Anyway, once at the shooting line I shot three arrows and knew I'd found the right bow. As I said, it's ridiculously light, powerfully punchy and fast but somehow smooth too, as I said in my Osprey review, there is something very special about this design, it's unlike any other traditional bow but when you shoot other bows after shooting an Osprey or Falcon it feels like there's something missing. Well, I couldn't be happier, although leaving without the bow was difficult as it needed to be finished, but I'm quietly confident that this is the ultimate traditional bow. I collected my restrung bows, bought a couple of new finger tabs that Martin had recommended and having shot with them I concur and went on my way thoroughly satisfied. Brilliant service (thanks Martin and Tammie *salutes*), thanks for the coffee. I can't recommend the bows and the customer service at KG enough. They are the best, by a country mile, 'nuff said.
