KG Sheriff
This is getting silly now. While the Sheriff was making its way to me, I was already thinking about which KG bow to buy next. One day I'll settle on a particular type, but who cares? Until then I'm just going to enjoy shooting all of 'em.
Like all other KGs, the Sheriff is a beautiful thing to behold. I'm just back from the club having shot it for the first time and, out of the five KGs I'm lucky enough to own, it was the easiest to shoot from the word go and also the most accurate. It shot right where I was looking straight away. As ever with KG bows it garnered a lot of attention, the "Isn't it, quiet, isn't it light" comments before they all scurry back to their recurves and compounds that suddenly sound like knackered cars backfiring.
I would suggest that anyone taking their first steps into traditional archery couldn't do better than a Sheriff, it is so stable and balanced. I'm carrying a permanent shoulder injury and the Sheriff is really forgiving, I barely noticed my shoulder whilst shooting.
The usual thanks to everyone at KG, the customer service is perfect and the bows are the best trad bows money can buy, all I need now is a label for the bag!
