There has been a lot of interest in traditional bows at our club over the last year, especially from folk attending beginners courses, but unfortunately our club had no trad bows for people to try. I remedied this by buying a RH and LH Osprey at 22lb for the club. Out of all the KG bows I've owned the Osprey and Falcon shape is the one that draws the most interest, there is just some kind of magnetic Ju-Ju in these bows that has people flocking around them like moths. Sometimes I go to the club for a quiet morning's shooting and I don't get to shoot at all because everyone wants to try them out. Since purchasing the Ospreys I have coached one very new archer who showed interest in trying a traditional bow. Within minutes she was hitting close groups and she stayed in the groove for the whole afternoon! She's already visited the KG site and is eyeing up an Osprey of her own. If you are looking for your first traditional bow or maybe you are upgrading from a cheaper make/model then you can't do better than a KG Osprey, my favourite KG bow, but be prepared for other archers to hassle you to try it out, like, all the time!
