Gorgeous Rims

These rims are beautifully formed and have stunning finishes that are set of by the tasteful VO log. They build up great though you have to take care not to drop spoke nipples inside them while lacing them up. It is a challenge getting escaped nipples out. My only concern is it can be difficult to mount tires on these rims. I worked in bike shops for years and have mounted thousands of tires in that time and have rarely used tools to get one onto a rim. In this case I used Schwalbe Speed One folding tires and I could not get that last 4 inches to go over the edge of the rim without using a tire lever. It could just be the tires I selected and maybe others are easier to mount so YMMV.

Great looking rim. Joint is nearly invisible. Well packaged for shipping. I am looking forward to building these.

Enterprise Rim Wheel Build

The wheel build went perfect, well almost. Turned out the hub was bad, so it had to be re-laced with a new hub. The rim was still perfect.
