I wanted an extra tray to be able to swamp out while cleaning, that way nothing gets on the bottom brooder or the floor. I suggest to buy an extra one for less mess.

The extra manure tray gives me piece of mind to know I can take one out and clean it and the ones below will not get pooped on. Definitely worth the money for a extra tray.
