First Season Silver Black with Black Leather

Extremely elegante, the classic I wanted! Sounds good, extremely nice belt and fine details, perfect under shirts, as it is flat, in a wolrd of sport watches. 40mm is the right size for a man's wrist, but I would find it very attractive and a woman's arm as well.

the watch is beautiful, but it can't keep time. I have to adjust the time at least once per day. Great looking time piece, very poor at keeping time.

A 24 hour watch has been on my must have list for some years but Breitling Navitimer Cosmonaute was too dear, Oris BC4 blue eagles too big and Raketa just too agricultural. When i saw the Akerfalk it is exactly the style I like and at a price I don't have to lie to the wife about. First impressions, very positive, case is a very similar design to a Junghans max bill, polishing and finish are excellent for the price point, the leather strap is fine considering the price of the watch, I ordered the silver case/black dial version on a black strap due to limited versions available and the fact I have several 20 mm straps around. Looks fantastic on a Staib Milanese mesh. I like the fact that it doesn't have a second hand to advertise it's quartz movement although the Ronda movement is a perfect choice as it is very cheap and easy to swap in the unlikely extent that it fails. This is one of the cheaper watches I have purchased but I can see it becoming one of my favourites.
