Delightful sapphire sandwich

My life is cars and aeroplanes. This watch is a wonderful conversation piece on so many levels given my previous interest in canted dials, driving and aviation watches. Have always liked the aesthetics of wire lug cases and the simple but elegant Edwardian pocket watch style dials that went with them. Could have been made just for me! Features included make this tremendous value (real sapphire crystals, enamel and lume work, surface finishes and a great strap). The 8N33 manual movement works perfectly to allow a comparatively shallow display back and explain “clockwork” to younger humans due to its intricate cut-aways. Wish they were still made. Ivan & Judy actually seem to care beyond the financials. I love their non “me too” approach and very much like everything they have made so far. Will be back
