Lanta Hanging Chair

Perfection till my dog ate it.

It was awesome for the 2-3 days we got to use it. I hung it on my kids swing set in place of the trapeze bar. They (and I) loved it. It was perfect for reading and actually awesome for my ADHD/sensory seeking kiddo too! Unfortunately our dog thought my oldest needed rescuing when she was reading in it one day and he valiantly slayed her captor and freed her from her little cocoon. I don't imagine two holes are very repairable? I need to sit down with it and figure something out. The dog is now on parole and has seriously limited privileges. But in our few days I got my dad hooked too and I'm still planning on making some hanging chair stands for his house and mine and getting more hammock chairs (and working on some training with the dog).

I LOVE my Yellow Leaf Hammock

I set up my chair hammock in the live oak tree in our front yard. Now that the straps are secure, I can easily hook on the hammock anytime and enjoy the serenity and my neighbors. The product is strong and well made. It also allows the breeze to come through.

We used some straps with "S" hooks we already had, and initially tried to hang it between 2 trees, but they were too far apart for the chair hammock, which needs an almost vertical hang. I might need a regular Yellow Leaf hammock for that spot! Then we tried it on a large branch of a different tree and it's absolutely perfect. I "do guilt" really well and am always thinking I shouldn't be just sitting around, reading a book, but this hammock is so beautiful and comfortable, and knowing that my purchase helps Mlabri craftswomen (Toom made mine!), it's an easy sell. Shipping, even in this crazy time, was relatively quick. I'm a happy customer.
