Pomegranate bushes

I love pomegranates and I am so excited about watching these grow and produce wonderful fruit. I've never seen pomegranate bushes in Virginia. I hope the harvest is so many fruit I will have to surprise the neighbors. LOL

I guess time will tell how well it was bred because I only planted it a couple weeks ago. For the price I was expecting a more mature plant especially after having to wait a couple months to receive it. Still, the plant arrived in good condition and was well packaged. The planting instructions were thorough, and the plant was healthy (and still is after a couple weeks in the ground). I look forward to seeing it grow up and produce fruit.

It’s a great size, and arrived timely and in a sturdy package. The tree leaves were all very yellow and fell off within a couple days. I’m hoping it’s just because it’s fall and not because it is dying. The stems seem to still be hydrated. I’m looking forward to next spring to see the leaves come back (hopefully)
