1P Bug Shelter

Absolutely love the Yama Mountain Gear 1P Bug Shelter! Feather light, easy to set up (once I found the instructional photos on the website), no seam sealing required, in stock = fast delivery, great customer service (rapid email response directing me to assembly photos), gorgeous stitching, super breathable, easy one handed zipper pulls, great design, even worked with an Eno Profly silnylon tarp (not tapered), bathtub floor is great, footprint is enormous, enough headroom at the front for a 5'10" 170lb male (me) to sort of sit up. Can't wait for the custom tapered tarp I ordered from another cottage gear company to arrive. My fully enclosed shelter system (allowing for a tree hang) will now be just over a pound and the size of a Nalgene (down a pound from my Big Agnes UL Fly Creek 1P tent). Ultralight and ultra compact!! And no fear of waking up at midnight with a packrat under my quilt.

Excellent craftsmanship. I really appreciate the Y zip opening that give you the ability to really open it up, and different exit/entry points. Very versatile piece of gear
