Great burst of flavor

These lemons added a brightness to the sauce I made. I used them in a lemon butter sauce with capers over roasted veggies. They provided a pop of flavor that made for a kicked up vegetable side dish. I can’t wait to use them in the shrimp scampi dish that I plan to make this week. If you’re looking to give a flavor boost to your food that requires lemon try these. So good!

Hard to find

My sister makes a few Middle Eastern dishes, and while her recipes take a number of hours to prepare, are well worth the wait. Preserved lemon is a key ingredient, but are hard to find. I was so happy to see them on the Milk Street site. I'm anxious to try them, and from past experience with other products from Milk Street, I know they will be off high quality!

Good product, acceptable service

The only thing wrong with shopping at Milk Street is their choice of delivery company: FedEx. Slower than a slug. Package TOSSED ON TO THE PORCH. Fortunately contents not destroyed. Interestingly enough the lemons were virtually identical in taste and texture to the ones I have made. Must be doing something right. NYTIMES recipe.
